AFAPREFABRIK Precast Concrete Industry and Trade Co. Inc. has been established in 1979 as a corporate evidence of a particular know-how, various applications, research and accumulated progress in years which AFA group of companies have achieved since 1967 in the field of precast and prestressed concrete technology.

 

Our company maintains its activities with stationary and mobile production plants that are designed regarding industrial standards. Demands originated from the Aegean and other neighboring regions are handled by the main plant, located in Izmir-Kemalpasa O.I.Z. The other plant, established next to Bursa-Demirtas O.I.Z., concentrates on requirements from Marmara region. The Kocaeli-Gebze plant serves as the main production unit for tunnel segments of the “Marmaray” project tunnels under-crossing the Bosphorus.

 

Main production plant has a building capacity of 800’000 sq.m. per annum, i.e. 48’000 cu.m. of concrete. AFAPREFABRİK provides services including design, production, transportation and assembly of precast and prestressed concrete of a wide diversity, such as high-sustaining, high-resistant, long-span capacity components.

 

AFAPREFABRIK, with its experienced staff, specializes in carrying out turn-key solutions for investors that have superior expectations. Regardless of the nature of the contract, structures substantiated by AFAPREFABRIK are referred to as having a certain peculiarity of socioeconomic life and typically fit into the following categories:

In search of excellence and yet, as an understanding of contemporary, economic and esthetic solutions towards environmental matters, AFAPREFABRIK started out the production of paving stone in 1989 with an annual capacity exceeding 500.000 s.q.m. The blocks are manufactured in compliance with Turkish standards, certified under TS 2824 for “Interlocking Concrete Paving Stone” and are designed in such a way to satisfy various expectations and tastes for all kind of spaces, touristic establishments and especially roads subject to heavy traffic load.

 

As a result of growing market penetration, the company has expanded its installations area by 20 % and its production capacity by 25 % with modern units.

 

Furthermore, the tradition in the quality discipline proved by TSE certificates, has been awarded by ISO 9001: 2000 Quality Management System Certificate by BUREAU VERITAS  (BVQI/UKAS). Founder member of the Turkish Precast Concrete Association, AFAPREFABRIK owns the Certificate of Independant Quality Control and Security System for which severe inspections are renewed every year.
